Am I weird for having brewed coffee for a late night talks instead of some hard liquor drinks to cap it off? Ben and I went out late at night but instead of drinking alcoholic beverages, I asked for a cup of coffee instead. Good thing he drinks neither coffee nor alcohol. So if we go to coffee shops, he'll order hot chocolate or other non caffeine drinks. When we're out for drinks, which never happened yet, he'll probably order a can of soda or juice.
We already ordered some pancake dessert in its neighboring establishment but then they didn't have brewed coffee. So I quickly hopped in to Bo's coffee and ordered one. Looking at some of their desserts, I would've loved to buy one but we already ordered the desdert so maybe next time.
Ben and I do not often have deep talks about our future plans and I'm happy that we got the chance to casually talk over a cup of coffee.
Eventually, he wants me to move to his hometown which I have not agreed yet, only because I don't know what to do in there. I've never tried living outside our home, let alone permanently move in. So I said I'd have to think about it thoroughly first.
In another news, we also talked about putting our own business together. Maybe a franchise business or something related to food consumption. I've always wanted to have my own business. So I'm now beginning to look into Facebook marketplace and see the trends now a days.
Majority of the business posted in the platform are real estate, specifically condo selling. My parents always discourage us in buying condo units as they think it's overpriced. Besides, the lifespan of condos are only up to 50 years. Hence, you cannot pass it on to the next generation. I'm also looking for something that only requires small capital but feasible.
We ended our deep conversation with much compassion with each other. I hope we could spend more time like this.
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
